I've never been the type of person who can stay still with one thing.

I played soccer, skateboarded, drew comic book characters, was a music producer and DJ. Whenever something caught my attention, I dove in headfirst, unfiltered, without compromise. Total hyperfocus, until the next door opened.

I ended up starting a course in materials engineering; I liked the logic, understanding how things work. But at a certain point, I noticed I was spending more time sketching shapes than studying formulas.

Aligned with my background, my interest in product design emerged first. This led to the creation of Lume, which demanded more from me, sparking an interest in video editing, photography, and graphic design. I brought it all together without a very clear plan; I only knew that I wanted to create beautiful and purposeful objects.

Lume gradually came to life. From a table in Lisbon, through countless hours experimenting with shapes and materials, and a genuine desire to create something meaningful. It continues to be made that way, with care.
